Consulted on a greenfield health insurance platform in Australia, building the frontend from scratch with integrated payment processing.

The Problem

A health insurance startup needed a complete digital platform built from the ground up. The system required a Vue application with embedded React modules, third-party payment integrations, and a foundation that could scale as the business grew. Time to market was critical.

What I Did

Built the Vue frontend architecture from scratch while integrating React-based modules where needed. Implemented GraphQL APIs with Node.js backends and integrated third-party payment providers. Established a component style guide that multiple teams could adopt. Wrote Jest and Cypress test suites to catch issues before deployment.

What Shipped

Launched a production-ready platform with working payment integrations that directly supported revenue growth. The style guide became the reference for other teams building on the platform. Automated testing reduced post-launch issues and gave the team confidence to iterate quickly.
