Led full stack delivery in a distributed Canadian team, acting as Scrum Manager while building multiple MVPs on Google Cloud Platform.

The Problem

A distributed team needed to ship multiple MVPs quickly while maintaining code quality. Junior developers required guidance, and the codebase lacked consistent patterns between frontend and backend. Validation cycles were slow, delaying feedback from stakeholders.

What I Did

Took on Scrum Manager responsibilities while continuing individual contributor work. Built full stack features using Vue, Nuxt, and Node.js on Google Cloud Platform. Mentored junior developers through code reviews and pair programming. Standardized development patterns across the stack to reduce technical debt and improve maintainability.

What Shipped

Delivered multiple MVPs with shorter validation cycles, enabling faster stakeholder feedback. The team adopted consistent patterns that reduced tech debt and made onboarding easier. Junior developers grew into more independent contributors through the mentorship process.
